Final film:
Pitch/Proposal day. Taking into consideration the sensitivity of the topic I will be discussing, I began my presentation by prefacing the facts.
This is the Israel-Palestine death toll since the beginning of their conflict:

On october 7th, an organization based in Gaza called Hamas, attacked Israelis and killed 1400.

Since then Israel has retaliated in self defense, and this has been the self defense so far:


All indicators point towards collective punishment
Activists have been sharing Palestinians’ side of the story, however, many have faced censorship.

I will be focusing on the students who faced said censorship.


Coursework:
After discussing it with a professor, my plan for the music video was to work on my own. I wanted to experimentally film whirling darwiches over the Morocco track. I was familiar with the practice through my own background, and thought it would be interesting to explore. However, when I couldn’t find any sessions to attend or any sources as to where to find darwiches in London, I opted out. I rejoined my group from the last task.
